RTK positioning accuracy depends on having an adequate number of “common-view” satellites—those visible to both the RTK base and the mower at the same time. Only these shared satellites can be used for precise differential positioning.

Recommended Installation Guidelines
Locations with poor RTK performance are often found under thick tree cover or close to walls. For ideal accuracy (0.01–0.05 meters), install your RTK base in an open area with a broad, unobstructed view of the sky.

How to Test a Location Before Finalizing Installation
If you’re unsure whether a spot meets the requirements:
- Temporarily place the RTK unit on the ground, facing upward.
- Move your mower to the general work area.
- Check the positioning accuracy value displayed at the top of the app.
- If the accuracy is within an acceptable range, you can proceed with permanent installation.

Important Consideration for Areas with Lower Accuracy
When the mower operates in areas with significant signal obstruction (e.g., under partial tree cover), it will rely more on its visual navigation system. In such cases, we recommend setting your map boundaries and No-Go zones slightly farther inward from the actual physical edges to reduce the risk of the mower crossing boundaries.
